British police said on Friday they accidentally shot a victim who died in the attack on a synagogue in Manchester, as well as one of the survivors, as they attempted to stop an attacker who appeared to be wearing an explosive belt.
In Thursday's attack two men, Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, were killed after a British man of Syrian descent drove a car into pedestrians and then began stabbing people outside Manchester's Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue during Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
So the British police show up, find a Muslim attacking a Jew and shoot the Jew.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, it was an accident. Except the police say they don't know about the terrorist's motive. If they're lying about the latter, why should I believe them about the former?
The guns used by anti terror police are more powerful than the old 45 revolvers or 9mm automatic. They used Heckler and Koch which can go through body armour. They are suggesting the bullets went through the Muslim, the door, and into the shul.
DeleteFirst of, members of the synagogue should be authorized to carry weapons. (Then Muslims will demand weaponry. The counter answer is that no one attacks mosques, so no communal danger.)

Note, many Orthodox shuls in US have regular mitpallellim who "carry", including several shuls i attend.
