Have any of you read Mosab Hassan Yousef's book, "Son of Hamas"? From my understanding, he actually wasn't a real terrorist, although he was on the path towards it. He worked with Shin Bet under the pretenses of being with Hamas, so he didn't cause any terrorist attacks against Israel, but prevented them. I'm not trying to sound insensitive, especially since this is coming from a stranger and you don't know me. My heart absolutely aches at the thought of the innocent lives that are being ruthlessly taken in Israel, and as naive or insincere any of you may interpret this, I really wish I could so something to make a difference in helping all the hurting souls in Israel. I'm not Jewish but it still hurts me and a lot of us to see them suffer. Although I feel so helpless, there is one thing that I can do that I know holds real weight and that is to pray to G-d for them. My heart pours out in prayer for them, and I pray for all of you too, because I know you suffer along with your brothers and sisters who are suffering in Israel. There is a verse that has been a comfort and stronghold for me, but it is from the NKJV (I'm sorry, I'm not sure how it is translated in the Tanakh!) "I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the L-rd in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13. I believe this because I have lived it and seen it over and over and over again. G-d is truly a righteous Judge. I wish I could do more to carry all of your burdens, but I know that what I can't do G-d will do and abundantly more. May the L-rd continually fill all of you with His peace, love, comfort, and even in times like these, His heavenly joy.Heather Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04745178076902712909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7309929059139673041.post-17422746115454827172009-01-07T07:54:00.000+02:002009-01-07T07:54:00.000+02:00The video is little more than a missionary video. ...The video is little more than a missionary video. It tells the story of a Muslim who converted to Yoshke Ponderic.

There is a tiny bit of information about the cruelty of Hamas and about the falsehood of Islam. Otherwise, it's a worthless video.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7309929059139673041.post-76118125773324757142009-01-05T08:06:00.000+02:002009-01-05T08:06:00.000+02:00"Very intersting. how should one know if he is sin..."Very intersting. how should one know if he is sincere?

I think that there is also a son of Osama Bin Laden traveling through the world and promoting peace and non-violence..."

I have seen him (Bin Laden's son) in interviews and he talks through two sides of his mouth when he is asked about his views on terrorism. If Bin Laden renounced terror, could he also go on speakers tours and collect nice honorariums for a living?

Most likely this guy, like Shoebat is a complete fraud, who is making a living spreading fear and hatred.

This is from Chabad's website on the Noahide laws:
http://countermissionary.org/articles/xwrong.html

• Christianity, is absolute idolatry, not shittuf (partnership of deities), based on at least two of its beliefs (held almost universally by the estimated 1.9 billion Christians worldwide): (1) That the other two members of the "trinity" are of equal power and stature to Hashem (G-d forbid!), and (2) that the physical world is primarily under the dominion of the Satan, who is in an actual state of rebellion against G-d (G-d forbid!). Christianity, therefore, does not fit the definition of shittuf given by the Lubavitcher Rebbe ("Mayim Rabim," Sefer Hama'amarim vol. 1, pp. 51-62; 1957).

• The Rambam, indeed, officially rules in three places that Christianity is idolatry and thus forbidden to gentiles (Mishneh Torah, Hilchos Ma'achalos Asuros 11:7 and Hilchos Avodas Kochavim 9:4; commentary on Mishnah, Avodah Zarah 1:3), and implies the same in a fourth place (Hilchos Melachim 11:4) (Note: these texts are censored from the standard editions of these works). The Rambam further rules that any religion which would believe in shittuf would also be prohibited to gentiles (Hilchos Melachim 9:2).

• According to the Nodah Biyhudah,* the Rama agrees with the Rambam that any religion of shittuf would be forbidden to gentiles (nor did the Rama ever indicate that Christianity was shittuf rather than idolatry).

• "Moshe Rabbeinu was commanded from the mouth of the Al-mighty to force all the inhabitants of the earth to accept the commandments that were commanded upon the descendants of Noah."

(Rambam, Mishneh Torah, Laws of Kings 8:10)

The Pele Yoetz, Rabbi Eliezer Papo ztl says that given the choice we should always favor Muslims over Christians because the former are not idolators.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7309929059139673041.post-67154777637432489902009-01-04T21:07:00.000+02:002009-01-04T21:07:00.000+02:00The whole thing reminded me of one of those 700 cl...The whole thing reminded me of one of those 700 club self discovery stories about "how Im became a Born Again Christian".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7309929059139673041.post-89113989524542761332009-01-04T21:06:00.000+02:002009-01-04T21:06:00.000+02:00shoshi said...
