Aside from his clear disdain for European Jewry, he also saw Nazi Germany as an opportunity to finally throw off British colonialism in Palestine, which is something that was very bad for Arabs and Muslims. There's no doubt that for various reasons, the Grand Mufti was on the side of the Nazis.<br /><br />But we also shouldn't forget that King Mohammed IV of Morocco saved about 250,000 Jews. <br /><br />Being on the side of the Nazis was not an Arab or Islamic thing. <br /><br />Some were with them, and some were against them.Shalomnoreply@blogger.com
