Why not Orthodox? Because it is not Orthodox. It is a combination of Modern and the apikorsus and the Orthodox which is Torah. Of course, with the heart divided into two parts Modern Orthodox gives the choice where to park by the moment. But before we finish this bashing of Modern Orthodox, we must admit that without YU and the half a day apikorsus and half a day learning from the greatest Talmudists in the world, what would we be today? Great Torah personalities in Lakewood and Telze came from YU. But today, people are making new choices. Some go to Open Orthodox and some become ultra-Orthodox. The world was very dark back then and here and there things improved a lot. But we have to keep improving. I am not talking about the Orthodox because my grandchildren may be reading this.Dovid Eidensohnhttp://torahtimes.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7309929059139673041.post-68601605106655801792015-04-15T17:35:36.267+03:002015-04-15T17:35:36.267+03:00The words "God" and "Torah" do...The words "God" and "Torah" don't appear at all in the article.
