'Israel's global image is in the worst state it has been since its inception'

As part of the "The 11th Million" project announced by Israel Hayom in October 2025 – a Zionist call for one million Jews from the diaspora to make Aliyah over the coming decade – Mazzig, who now lives in London, highlighted the unprecedented impact of the Hamas attack on October 7 and the outbreak of the Swords of Iron war on diaspora Jews – an impact unlike anything seen before in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"Jews are being attacked in New York, in LA, in DC, and in London. The entire world has just become so hostile. This assault was not just on Israel; it was an assault on the entire Jewish people. And Jews around the world are paying the price for it," he said.

"I'm afraid that the Israeli government and the official bodies don't realize how bad it is. They think that they can do some small things or cater to a specific audience, and maybe that would change, but even with the conservative party that used to be so pro-Israel, and understanding why we have a right for self-determination, even there, you see voices that are becoming more hostile."

  1. The reality may be like the following.

As long as Iran was arming and funding proxies in Lebanon, Gaza and Yemen and stockpiling ballistic missiles, building up its navy, air force and air air defenses, enriching uranium, and inculcating generation after generation to attack and kill Jews and even attack and kill Iranians who didn't fall into line, the role of Jew haters outside Iran was to show superficial disingenuous support of Jews.

These haters around the world had an attitude like, "Now, you Jews don't want to overly defend yourself, do you...?? Because if you do, we'll withdraw our support and openly flash our hatred we're willing to otherwise hide as long as you don't actually do what it takes to survive."

So, I'd say don't sweat the apparent rise in hatred of Jews. It was always there. And it's only on display because Jewish enemies are falling.

I believe Donald Trump has the resolve to bring down the Iranian regime and that the massive and technologically advanced and well trained U.S. troops can make it happen. Along with U.S. weaponry in the hands of Jews in Eretz Yisrael which can be used to attack Iran and to knock down incoming ballistic missiles and drones, the Iranians are finished.

Not only is their navy sunk, airplanes and drones demolished, air defenses shattered, and precious uranium about to be confiscated, but their leaders antagonistic to the U.S. and Jews are swatted like flies, all with the help of satellite imagery and the apparent help of spies among the Iranian people only too willing to provide intelligence to bring down a repressive regime.

Once the U.S. secures the oil generating capacity of Iran and thus controls the Iranian economy and shuts down all the ballistic missile manufacturing, President Donald Trump will essentially own Iran and be able to install whomever he wants in charge.

So the haters are rising up. It's just a sign of their impotence and realization on their part that their ruse of trying lull the Jews into inaction failed.

  2. Recall the mid 90's after Oslo was signed. Israeli diplomats, previously shunned, were welcomes all over Europe. Suddenly Israelis were invited to conferences and meetings. The boycotts ended. Jews were thrilled. Finally we're accepted.
And then the suicide bombings began and Israel started pushing back. Suddenly the warmth was gone. Less invites. More coldness in meetings. The message was clear - we're great as long as you're surrendering. Stand up for yourself and you're back in the ghetto.
Go back to 1948-67. Israel was the darling of the liberal left because it was an endangered state that no one expected to last 2 decades. That prediction was about to come true in 1967 when Israel turned things around and established its permanence in the Middle East. And what happened? Pariah state! How dare the Israelis defeat their enemies and establish secure borders! Heresy!
The Israeli government knows very well that what it's doing is enraging its so-called friends. It knows that if it wants the West's approval, it should sit back and hide behind the Iron Dome while Hezbollah and Hamas shoot and fire on the country as much as they want without fear of reprisal. That's going to get them love. And they are saying "Screw off!"
The Israelis know very well the collateral effects this is having on Western Jewish community but their position is "We're not going to hang ourselves so that people at Harvard will like you."
